Here is another challenge that I completed tonight from "Sweet sketch Wednesday" the stamp set I used is "Love 2 Hug" from "The {stamps} of life . I am a member of her monthly club and it is so worth it. I get a new stamp set sent to me on the 1st. of every month and the shipping within the US is only $1.00. Sweet deal for some sweet stamps. This set is a 39 piece set and is perfect for Valentines Day. Which is my favorite Holiday. I totally love all the pinks and reds. So pretty! Anyways, My colors scheme was tempting turquoise,a dark purple and the DP is from the $ spot at Target called "Tweet Hearts Collection" Totally cute papers and some of them even have glitter and oh how I love glitter! I also used some Ric Rac from Doodlebug design, Inc. called boutique trims in the swimming pool assortment. Well, I am off to hopefully complete another challenge. So, I will see you all real soon!

Happy day after Christmas everyone. I hope Santa was good to you all and you had a wonderful day with family and friends. I had a pretty busy Christmas as we had to drive all over the bay area to visit our families. It was so nice to see everyone! So, onto a challenge. This one is from last Monday(Dec. 21st.) so there will be another one from Mojo Monday in 2 days so I thought I had better get this weeks up quick. As you can see, I turned mine but kept the sketch the same. This one I did rather quickly as it was pretty easy for me once I got my image all colored in. Isn't she just adorable? She is from Sugar Nellie . from the website Funky Kits,The home of adorable stamps I just love any and all of those images. Totally cute! I colored her in with my copics and used a pink Spica for the flower in her hair. The DP I used is from "My minds eye" and my color scheme is Rose Red, Close to cocoa and white. The sentiment is from Stampin Up! Circles of friendship. Well,

Hello friends, Wow, It seems like I have been away forever. With all the shopping and wrapping and trying to make sure I get my Christmas cards sent out I haven't left much time for challenges. Well, They are all sent and I have completed 3 challenges in one. I am so excited about this one. First, We have Mojo Monday , You can see the sketch above and this one was quiet easy for me. I finally got to use my New Dahlia Nestie that I won in Wendy's awesome October Breast Cancer awareness Blog Candy . (Thank y ou again Wendy!!) Anyways, The next Challenge was the Splitcoaststampers color challenge # 249 which was Melon Mambo, Mellow Moss and So Saffron. And the 3rd. and final challenge was from Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog and it too was somewhat of a color challenge. We were to use nontraditional colors for a Christmas card. Although I did use Green(Mellow Moss) but that isn't too much of a Christmas color, Is it? Hmmmm, Maybe it is. Lemme know what you think. I feel

The sweet stop Sketch "Sew Happy"

Image
Hello all, Here is my take on Sweet N Sassy's Sweet Stop sketch for this week. This week it was named "Sew Happy" which means some sort of sewing has to be incorporated into the creation. Well, If you could have seen me trying to get my little "Sew Mini" going you would have been hysterically laughing at me. I think I even used a few swear words. I was on a mission to get this darn thing going but.... I didn't. so, I ended up doing the Faux stitching around the edge of the card and on the rose red panel where the sentiment is.. I will eventually learn how to get that little machine going but for now, I had to put it away. So, now back to the challenge. The image I used I just recently won in an awesome Blog candy From Wendy at "Anytime of life' Its good to be alive " and I just love this image. So darn adorable. It is called" Robins" by Jillian Roberts. (Stampavie) . My colors for this card are Rose Red, Bashful Blue and White. Th

Here we have another Mojo Monday ! This one was really fun and really easy for me. Right when I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. In fact, This is the 3rd. challenge that I have completed using the same DP! I was not going to waste any of that adorable paper from My minds eye. I am really happy with the result. The image that I used, I am not even sure who it is from, I received it in a swap and it was the perfect size for this card! Once again, My cardstock colors for this creation was Rose Red, Cert. celery and white. The ribbon I used is cert. celery from Stampin Up! I printed the "merry Christmas on my computer and punched it out with my Modern Label punch from Stampin Up! I added blue self adhesive pearls onto the tag for that little bit of shiny! So, what do you think? Come back again real soon as I will be completing another challenge!

Sweet Sketch #23

Image
What a fun sketch and I couldn't wait to do it and use my Joy2Christmas set from "The {Stamps} of life" by Stephanie Bernard . I am trying to get my Christmas cards kicked out before December hits so I can concentrate on my shopping and baking. Don't get me wrong, I will be at my desk almost every night doing more stamping but I just want to make sure that I have them done so if there are any last minute cards that need to be made I don't have to totally rush. I created this card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday . Isn't it adorable? The DP I used is from a Christmas stack and the other CS used is from Stampin Up! My color scheme was Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink, Real red and Ballet Blue. I love those colors tog ether. I am a huge fan of pink, so if it includes pink, I am good!! I am also a huge fan of glitter and as you can see, I added it to the tiny X-mas trees with crystal effects. I also added gems to the other Christmas trees. So let me know what you think, I

Sweet N Sassy Sketch challenge

Image
Here is a sketch challenge that I did for Sweet N Sassy Stamps "The sweet shop" I used no DP on this creation so I thought I would just use my Swiss dots embossing folder. I think it looks quiet nice. The color combo I used was Green Galore,Rose Red and Apricot appeal. Really pretty colors together! The stamp I used was a digi from InStyle stamps . I used a variety of mediums to color Rainy Cynthia in. I used my Watercolor pencils, my Gelly roll pens and my Spicas. Oh and I also used my Copics. The sentiment is one from a mixed set I have from My favorite things. Let me know what you think! Now off I go to try and catch up on some more challenges. This set is called Joy2Christmas by The {Stamps} of life Go on over to The {stamp} of life and check out the club and maybe even join to get these great stamps delivered right to your door every month. A Halloween Creation

Image
Here is a card that I made to send to a friend for Halloween. I have to say that I absolutely love how this one turned out. I made the pumpkin from my Stampin Up! oval punch and also for the stem and leaves, I used Stampin Up! sizzlets. I must have been on a roll last night because, I threw this one together and was like ohhhh, I should add a little bling and when I did it was like total satisfaction. Does that sound kind of wierd? I almost don't want to send this one off, hehehehe!!! There are the supplies I used: US white, basic black, purple (From my stash), only orange(for my pumpkin) and striped Halloween DP from a Halloween pack. sentiment from pumpkin patch(Stampin Up!) orange gems from me and my big ideas. also, Swiss Dots Embossing folder. scallop circle from Nestabilities. Here is this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge sketch . I made a birthday card for my neighbors daughter who is turning 18 this month and she is totally girlie so I thought these were the perfect colors for her. These are the materials that I used for this creation. Stamped image is from "Totally cool" from Stampin Up! The DP is from a birthday stack from DCWV. I also added some yellow glitter to her purse and shirt. I colored in the shopping bags with my gelly roll pens by sakura. Copics were used on her hair and pants and shoes. I printed out the Happy Birthday Brittawnya on my computer. The flower is punched from my sizzix(daisies #2) from Stampin Up! I usde my xyron to stick the flowers on and there were like these spider web pieces of adhesive that I couldn't get off so I just sprinkled some yellow glitter on it to add a little sparkle to the flower. and the green po lka dot ribbon is out of my stash. and now, for the finished product. Enjoy!

I used my EF "Swiss dots" &" D'vine swirl" I also added some pink gems to the swirls and the flower ribbon is little velvet flowers from doodlebug designs.
