A good friend for "Mojo Monday"

Image
Well here is a card that I made last night using my digi image from "In style Stamps" Her name is Sasha. Isn't she pretty? I think this is one of my new fave images. I colored her dress in with my watercolor pencils and used my blender pen then for her hair and skin I used my Prisma markers. My most favorite part is her earrings and purse and shoes where I used my Gelly Pen by Sakura in Silver. I totally love the earrings. The color combo I was going with was Tempting Turquoise, almost amethyst barely banana and whisper white. I also used a build a brad for the middle of the flower. The dp I used is from My minds eye! for a finishing touch I used my punch on the corners and added some bling in red. Totally cute, I really like how this creation turned out! Let me know what you think! Keep an eye on my blog in the next couple of days, I am going to be adding some scrapbook pages and also some really sweet candy. It's been a while and I have been such a slacker lately t

Corrosive Challenge

Image
Wow, It has been a long time since I have put anything together. I have been sitting at my desk every night but have had creators block. I have been also playing with my new Copics. I have a bunch of images all colored and ready to go but that's about it. Hopefully I will get on a creative roll SOON! Well, This is something I came up with with the help of this Challenge blog that I found. Corrosive Challenges by Janet , What a cool blog. This weeks challenge was to use a sentiment as your focal point . You can stamp background images but no coloring. As you can see in my card, I used my Embossing folders in "Swiss Dots" and "Spots and Dots" as my background in So Saffron,Ballet Blue,Whisper White and Bashful Blue. I put those on top of Not quite navy with a whisper white base. I added some white ribbon and then stamped "Friend" From Lexicon of Love from Stampin Up! in Not quiet navy and added that to so saffron and not quite navy. Pretty easy and prett

Christina's Birthday

Hello my friends, Here is a card that I made for my neighbor and very close friend Christina. She is the greatest neighbor anyone can have. I wanted to make something that fit her personality. We are both into Heavy metal and rock and roll. Her and I have the same favorite band, Y & T so whenever they are playing local, we go to the concert and every concert I have been to with her, She always gets me up front, Also, whenever she goes to a concert that I am not with her, she always brings me home a guitar pick or drum stick. She is one of those people that always thinks of everyone else first. I cant even express how awesome she is! So, I thought this image was appropriate for her, "Rockabella" from Stamping Bella ! I also had this guitar and stars DP that was perfect. For the sentiment, I used a rub on from Stampin Up! Also, I colored in Bellas guitar with my Sakura Gelly pen and also used one of my gelly pens on her shirt. In the corners of Rockabella, I added Pearls b

Bunny Box

Image
Hello all, I have been in such a ick this past week that I haven't even made any anything so I am going to post some things that we made at Gina's stamp camp at the end of March. This bunny box is so cute and really easy to make as well. We also made a little gift box for the bunny to hold. For the little gift box, there was no tape or adhesive used so it is super duper easy. Now for the bunny, Isn't he the cutest? For the bunny face we used the new "Circle scissor plus" from Stampin up! the eyes , ears, feet and nose are from Stampin Up! punches. Hopefully with today being Friday and I am officially on Spring Break for 9 whole days maybe I will get those creative juices flowin!

Almost Easter

Image
Here is one that I made the other night. I am starting on my Easter cards a little late so I really need to get it in gear. This one I totally cased out of card maker magazine(Ana Wohlfhart) and I think I am going to make a few more just with different images. I just loved the layout of this one and I just happened to have the perfect DP. I added some fun flock to Mr. Easter Bunny because I didnt want to just leave him bare so I think it was the right touch. I also colored the eggs in with my Sakura Gelly pens(I just love those pens) The "Happy Easter" is printed off on my computer. So let me know what you think, You may just end up with one in your mailbox!

A little of this, a little of that

Hello all, I have been kinda busy lately, Brandon's Baseball season has begun and this is his last year before High School ball so I am savoring every game. I also am working on his little league years scrapbook. I have been putting this scrapbook together for him since T-ball. I love to look back at his baseball when he was just 4 1/2, almost makes me sad that my only baby is growing so fast. So, That is pretty much where my time has been going. Although, I did attend another one of Gina's stamp camps this last Monday. We completed 7 projects. it was so much fun and so easy. We used 1 sheet of Stampin Up! DP and one sheet of the simply scrappin self adhesive die cuts. So, This is what we made... 7 4X4 cards from just 1 sheet of DP and 1 di cut sheet. Pretty cool, huh? I have a few more things to share this evening so stay tuned!
