The sweet stop Sketch "Sew Happy"

Image
Hello all, Here is my take on Sweet N Sassy's Sweet Stop sketch for this week. This week it was named "Sew Happy" which means some sort of sewing has to be incorporated into the creation. Well, If you could have seen me trying to get my little "Sew Mini" going you would have been hysterically laughing at me. I think I even used a few swear words. I was on a mission to get this darn thing going but.... I didn't. so, I ended up doing the Faux stitching around the edge of the card and on the rose red panel where the sentiment is.. I will eventually learn how to get that little machine going but for now, I had to put it away. So, now back to the challenge. The image I used I just recently won in an awesome Blog candy From Wendy at "Anytime of life' Its good to be alive " and I just love this image. So darn adorable. It is called" Robins" by Jillian Roberts. (Stampavie) . My colors for this card are Rose Red, Bashful Blue and White. Th

Mojo Monday Week 114

Image
Here we have another Mojo Monday ! This one was really fun and really easy for me. Right when I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. In fact, This is the 3rd. challenge that I have completed using the same DP! I was not going to waste any of that adorable paper from My minds eye. I am really happy with the result. The image that I used, I am not even sure who it is from, I received it in a swap and it was the perfect size for this card! Once again, My cardstock colors for this creation was Rose Red, Cert. celery and white. The ribbon I used is cert. celery from Stampin Up! I printed the "merry Christmas on my computer and punched it out with my Modern Label punch from Stampin Up! I added blue self adhesive pearls onto the tag for that little bit of shiny! So, what do you think? Come back again real soon as I will be completing another challenge!

Hey all, I am so excited, I created 2 sketch challenges tonight and I think I am going to try and go for another one before I hit the hay. It is 11:50pm. This is only my 2nd. one completed for this site but I am going to try and complete one every week. It was definitely a challenge and that made it all the more fun! Here are the supplies used: Images from "The stamps of Life" Card stock used Rose Red,Bashful Blue and whisper white. DP is from My Minds Eye, blue adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft and snowflake brads from my stash! What is really great is I have 9 Christmas cards completed and I only need to make about 50 more and they are all going to be different. I think I can do it. I am kind of a last minute Lucy so, I have plenty of time he! he! he!

Sweet Sketch #23

What a fun sketch and I couldn't wait to do it and use my Joy2Christmas set from "The {Stamps} of life" by Stephanie Bernard . I am trying to get my Christmas cards kicked out before December hits so I can concentrate on my shopping and baking. Don't get me wrong, I will be at my desk almost every night doing more stamping but I just want to make sure that I have them done so if there are any last minute cards that need to be made I don't have to totally rush. I created this card for Sweet Sketch Wednesday . Isn't it adorable? The DP I used is from a Christmas stack and the other CS used is from Stampin Up! My color scheme was Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink, Real red and Ballet Blue. I love those colors tog ether. I am a huge fan of pink, so if it includes pink, I am good!! I am also a huge fan of glitter and as you can see, I added it to the tiny X-mas trees with crystal effects. I also added gems to the other Christmas trees. So let me know what you think, I

Sweet N Sassy Sketch challenge

Image
Here is a sketch challenge that I did for Sweet N Sassy Stamps "The sweet shop" I used no DP on this creation so I thought I would just use my Swiss dots embossing folder. I think it looks quiet nice. The color combo I used was Green Galore,Rose Red and Apricot appeal. Really pretty colors together! The stamp I used was a digi from InStyle stamps . I used a variety of mediums to color Rainy Cynthia in. I used my Watercolor pencils, my Gelly roll pens and my Spicas. Oh and I also used my Copics. The sentiment is one from a mixed set I have from My favorite things. Let me know what you think! Now off I go to try and catch up on some more challenges. I just love challenges, they totally inspire me! Hugs to all my friends!

Hello all, This is going to be a quick post for me tonight. It is Sunday night and I have to be up at 5:30 for work tomorrow and I just had to complete my creation but... I did this for a sketch challenge and I cannot, for the life of me remember which one, Yikes!!! So, if you know, Please let me know! So, for the stamp set I used, Oh, I am so in love with these stamps. It is from a newer company out of Calif. It is also a stamp club, so on the 1st. of every month, I get a new stamp set in the mail. I just love it! This set is called Joy2Christmas by The {Stamps} of life Go on over to The {stamp} of life and check out the club and maybe even join to get these great stamps delivered right to your door every month. As you can see, I used my crystal effects on the bulb and also my jelly pen in silver on the screw part of the bulb. Also, the sentiment is from the same stamp set. So darn cute! Well, more tomorrow my friends, I am pooped! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
