Beates WSC #59

Image
Here is my entry into Beates Weekend sketch challenge #59 . This one took me a long time to put together and wait till you see the mess on my desk while I was in the process. Yikes! I used my swiss dots embossing folder on those middle panels but I did it with a twist. I used Very Vanilla CS and put Night of navy ink on the neg. side of the ef and then I ran it thru my Big Kick, Hence, The raised dots stay vanilla and the rest is night of navy. The deco paper I used is called "spectator cadet " by Tinkering ink . for the stamped "friend image I used "really russt as my complementary color and the stamp set Lexicon of love. and night of navy grosgrain ribbon. I really like how this turned out and it totally challenged me which I loved! Thanks Beate for another great challenge! Oh Ya, and for the mess!!! It may not look too bad, But, in such a small space, It was making me nuts!

Just a quickie!

Here is just a quick card that I put together the other night. The set that I use is from Stampin Up! and is called "Friendship Blooms" Isnt this a darling set? I used a few accessories on this card. My new scallop border punch, brown brads(in the middle of the flowers) and the Chunky glitter from Stampin up! The color combo that I went with was Pacific Point,So Saffron,Purely Pomegranate and whisper white. Same with the ink colors(purely pomagranate, pacific point)

Scor-Pal purse

Image
I have been so busy with my scor-pal , there are so many awesome projects and I just want to make them all! This one is a purse that took me no time at all to make. I used Stampin Up! designer series paper called "georgia Peach" I love love love pink and there is plenty of pink in that collection, The inside of the purse(opposite side of paper)is So Saffron. I used a velvet ribbon for the handle in pink. If you dont have a Scor-Pal , then you have to get one. It makes folds so incredibly easy you will have more time to make more projects! Drop me a line and let me know what you think!

I love my Scor-Pal

okay, I have to say, I love, love, love to make boxes and now that I have my awesome Scor-Pal, I love it even more. Here is a box that I put together the other day and it was so quick. The hardest thing for me was trying to figure out a color combo. Isnt this just the cutest box? It is a 3X3 box. I used Stampin Up! designer series paper for the lid(shown) and Sage shadow for the bottom! Well, time for me to hit the sack, early risen for work tomorrow! Peace out my sistahs!

Anyways, The saying is also from the same set. The total colors I used in this were Pretty in pink, Tempting turquois, whisper white and basic brown. oh and I cant forget the pink and brown striped ribbon!

Lookie what Gina made me!

I just love my Stampin Up! Demo, Gina she is so sweet, She made me some really cool things for my Birthday! The first thing she made me was a card organizer with a phone book, Some misc. event cards(ie: B-day,Feel better, etc.) some 3X3 notecards with my initial on them, some tags and an RSVP pen to match. This is such a darling idea and I so appreciate Gina for being so kind. This next item she made for me was a 3X3 note card holder and she included 4 3X3 notecards and envies. Isnt it just adorable? I cant wait to make some of these myself! I so look forward to going to Gina's stamp camps the first Thurs. of each month. We have such fun and make some really easy but awesome projects!

Cheers!

Here is one that I used a sketch from another Blog that I came across and for the life of me I cannot find it. So, If it is you that had this sketch on your site, Please let me know, I feel bad when I cannot give credit where credit is due! Anyways, I had just enough of a scrap of the beautiful designer paper to put this card together and just love the colors. I am extremely color challenged so my color guide is a must! For the little flowers, I used my Creative memories friendship micro maker(which I have never used until this card) I also used the giga punch scallop and just cut it in half. The colors I use were Rose red and gable green! I used a rub on from Joann's "everyday Expressions" and added 2 silver brads on each side! I really really like how this card turned out! Let me know what you think! Cheers!

Just a little something!

Here is a simple notebook cover that I threw together. I was in a JATC card swap for stamping Bellas and this is one of the swaps that I received. I used a spiral notebook with a clear cover and just attached the JATC, and added some ribbon to the spirals(You cant really see them, but they are there)! I used cameo coral as the base color, susper easy and super cute! Hugs to all my sistah out there!

I havent had as much time to do my creatin, So, this is what I have done most recently. I went to Gina Taylors Sept. stamp camp. She always has so many fun and creative things for us to make. I just love goin to her stamp camps the first Thurs. of every month! This first project that I have pictures is a CD holder and we used the stampin Up! designer series double sided papers to decorate. This was so easy to make and not only that, She had some extra blank ones that we could purchase, So I thought these would be really nice to give as a gift with a gift card or even stamped images tucked into the pocket. Arent the cupcakes adorable? The stamp set that we used is "Crazy for cupcakes" by Stampin up! Here is another creation that we made. Love the fall colors! We also used the spiral punch on the watercolor paper and We used the Hostess set " Happi
