Some Christmas Creativity

Hello Friends, Well here it is, the first week of December and before we know it, it will be Christmas. I have 14 more days of work, then it is Winter break for me, YAHOOOOOO! I love my job, however, I love have vacations from the kids at school as well!! So, with Christmas being just around the corner, I am working really hard on my Christmas cards. I figured since I have to make my cards I might as well play along with some challenges. So, This challenge is from "Just Us Girls" Challenge Blog. What a fun challenge this was. I had so many ideas going thru my head. For this card, I used the stamp set, Contempo Christmas from Stampin Up! The paper is from I don't know where??? I have had it in my paper stash foreverrrrr so I thought I might as well use it. I have so much paper that I think I have a serious Hoarding problem. I really need to do some consolidating, Uhhhh, Ya, right LOL!! Then the 2nd. challenge that I have added this card to is Dynamic Duos challenge blog where the colors to use were Cert Celery & Real Red and it was ok to use white in it as well.
So, here you have it. The challenge and the completed challenge card. Let me know what you think.
Also, If you get a chance, I have some adorable Christmas cards for sale on my Etsy sight on top of some really cool Pink Paislee items. In my future creations, you will notice that I am using alt of Pink Paislee, of which I absolutely love, so check it out. There are some really great prices!!!
Hugs & Smiles until next time!!!

My take...

Hello Friends, How is everyone's week going? I am off of work this week so it is going by rather quickly. Always when you are having fun!!!
So, here I have for you a challenge card that I created for Mojo Monday. Dont ya just love it? I used a new stamp set that I received from Scrapmasters Paradise. It is called "In love Emma" I fell in love with her the moment I saw her. I paper pieced her  dress with a 6X6 pad from Echo Park, That is where all of the dp is from on this creation. On the flowers I added some sparkle with Smooch.
I love sparkle! I also added  black nestabling around the larger "Labels Fourteen" I really love how this card turned out. Let me know what you think!!!
All for now but I will be seeing you all real soon!!

Happy Thanksgiving and a challenge

First off, Let me just tell all of my friends out there in Blogger land, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and Family. It's really funny how fast time flies and the next thing you know, Christmas will be here and gone. I really love the Holiday season. Not even so much Christmas for the presents but just the whole season.
With that being said, It is time for me to move on to a challenge that I played along with. I am off all this week, so I am hoping to be able to share lots of goodies with all of you this week.
So this challenge was to create a Holiday greeting without using red and/or green.
So, this is what I came up with. This was a really simple creation but pretty at the same time. I heat embossed the Christmas tree in Blue and the pot in pink. The stamp set is from Stampin Up! I also embossed the white panel with a snow flake embossing folder. I think the embossing folders are the greatest invention. If you ever need a little something, the embossing folder is perfect. Especially with all of the patterns they have(I think I own all of them) It is always my go to tool!!!
The website that I created this card for is called Hooked on craft I have never played along with this site but it really is a fun challenge site. Go on over and check it out!! I have also entered it at Crafts and me challenges and Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge. I really have lots and lots of catching up to do as far as playing along with the wonderful challenges that are out there.
Well, I am off to do some more creating and I am also getting ready to have a little surprise for all of my followers in hopes of starting off the Holiday Season right!! There is going to be alot going on over at Dannies Creative Outlet and I want all of my friends there to have fun with me!!!
                           Happy Creating Loves!!!!

Just checkin in...

Hello Friends, I have been a busy little bee lately but have nothing to show for it. Do you ever have days like that? Busy Busy Busy but not a thing to show for it? I hate when that happens.
I have been working on a craft fair that my good friend Polly is putting on, I have created about 100 Christmas cards for it and guess what? I have been taking a 7 week CERT(California Emergency Response Team) course with my son, Brandon and our final class/drill is the same day as Polly's craft fair so, I have to come up with an emergency plan of my own for that day. I may have my mom sit at my table and sell my goodies while Brandon and I are doing our drill.  I better get my rear in gear. ya know, I am a last minute Lucy though. It seems to work for me, LOL!

Today I took a class at Art Inspired Studios in Brentwood and let me say, OMG, what an awesome class. It was taught by Suzy West and we completed a Christmas album out of a hard bound book. So totally cool!
First off, I have taken classes before with Suzy at CHA and she is so sweet and so creative I just love taking classes given by her.
This  book we  made into a shadow box(center photo) But I have to say, My most fave part of the whole thing is the cover. I love love love how the cover looks. This book was so much fun to create but you could definitely get lost in the hours of creating each page. There is so much you can do. This was a 4 hour class  and we used every last minute adding details to this fun and creative project. We did some embossing with "WOW" embossing powders on/in the book. We also learned some cool new techniques and how to use them in our books. I still have some more pages that I want to do in the book. Maybe try some different techniques. After all, I have about 300 pages that I can do something with!
Well, I am off to work on maybe some more Christmas cards. I will let you all know how it goes and if you are in the Concord, Calif. area then stop on by

Halloween Stamp Camp

Happy October my friends, My , My , My, this whole year is just flying by. Before we know it, it will be Jan 2013. I want it to slow down just a bit.
Tonight was Gina's monthly stamp camp and we created some Halloween goodies. The 2 Frankenstein boxes have a mini Hershey's bar in them, Aren't they just adorable?
The other Halloween goodie is magic pull up goodie box. I think both are just the cutest. For the pull up one we used the Stampin Up! stamp set Googly Ghouls. I love love love that stamp set and I cant wait to create some spooktacular goodies for my co workers.
I am going to make this a quick post as I have a craft fair to get ready for in a couple of weeks and I am working on packages of Christmas cards that I will be selling. I will share all that I make when they are complete.
Have a great weekend Peeps and I will see you all soon!!

Another Sketch challenge, Happy Birthday

Hello Friends, I know I have been a hit or miss all summer long but the truth is, I sit at my desk for hours and have every intention of creating some fabulous to share with you all but I end up blog hopping and copying and pasting and ya know, just searching high and low for that one project that will catch my eye. Well, I needed a Birthday card for my sons Nana and I really really love this lady. She has been the best grandma to my son so I wanted to make her something special. Well, I found this sketch challenge with a twist at "The Sweet Stop" and knew that I wanted to use that sketch to create something fab.
So, the twist was to use die cuts or punches of which, I did. The cup cake is a punch from Stampin Up! and the die cuts are scallop oval nestabilities. I also ised a circle punch to make the half circles, or scallops at the bottom of the striped piece.  All of the designer paper is from My Minds Eye, Stella Rose. The card stock is all from Stampin Up! Whisper White and tempting turquoise. the inks that I used on the punched cupcake is Regal Rose and Tempting turquoise. I also added some Sakura Crystal Lacquer on the top of the cup cake and added a cherry on top. The Happy Birthday is from CTMH "For every occasion"
The really special part of the card that I just love is I added micro beads to the center, Can you see em? I haven't taken out my micro beads out in so long, I am just tickled to be able to use them on this special card. So, what do you think? Do you like it? I just think it is adorable and hope that Nana likes it as well!!!

Hopefully, I will be back real soon to share some more goodies with you.

Dancing in Pajamas sketch

Hello Friends, How is everyone doing? Are you all having a wonderful Summer. I cannot believe how fast it has gone. It is almost time for all of the kiddos to head back to school. My kiddo is going to be a Senior this year.(sad face here) We just got the notice in the mail the other day for his appointment for Senior pictures. I never thought this day would come and here it is. Speaking of Senior pictures, Have you seen how expensive they are? You need to take out a loan just for senior pictures. WOW!
Anyways, we have about 2 more weeks of summer break and then it's back to the old grindstone. I go back to getting up at dawns early crack and heading off to work, It has been so nice to sleep in. I am the total night own and really dislike mornings but I also don't want to work at night, I wanna play. That is when I am most creative. Like now for instance, I will be up until mid night just playing, whether it be organizing in my craft room or creating some layout or card. I do my best work at night. That is what brings me here now, to share a creation that I completed for a sketch challenge over at Dancing in Pajamas.I needed a Thank you card for a friend so when I need a little something, I head on over to the challenge blogs. What a cool challenge! Aud sentiment challenge Blog

Hello Friends, Here I am again with another creative challenge. This one is from Aud Sentiment Challenge Blog. I love this challenge. It was to use a tag on the card and the sentiment was to be on the tag. I love love love working with tags. If there is ever a swap involving a tag, I am all in.. There are so many things you can do with a tag, I know, you can do equal things with a card but I just love the tags. On this tag, I clear heat embossed a tim Holtz image and then I sponged distress ink in different colors all over the tag. I then added the sentiment and the film strip ribbon. I embossed the green panel with a Tim Holtz alterations embossing folder then I ran a Radiant Rain dabber from Luminarte all over the embossed green panel to add some sparkle. The final touch was the washi tape along the edge. I love how this card turned out and I hope you all enjoy it as well.
Let me know what you think!!!
All for now and I will be back again to share some creative goodness with you all!

CLP Challenge

Here we have another great sketch from Crafting Life's pieces challenge blog. The image I used is from The Greeting farm, Isn't she just so cute? I colored her in with my Copics in Pinks and blacks. The designer papers I used, Once again, from a 6 X 6 paper pack and this one being from Echo Park. I love the blacks and pinks together. So darn purty!!
You can barely tell, but I sprayed all of my flowers with a coordinating Tattered angels glimmer mist to add some sparkle.  I love sparkle!! I then used the bitty banners from stampin in Happy Birthday and then cut it out with the bitty banners Framelets from Stampin Up! I really really like this creation. The only bad thing about me liking it is, I end up holding onto it when I should be sending it to someone special. LOL!
So, there you have it. My take on the sketch from CLP, Let me know what you think!!  Nighty Nights all, I will see you all real soon!!!

A Deconstructed Sketch challenge

A quickie sketch challenge card for you all to enjoy. I found this sketch challenge blog thru  Feline Playful. Oh what a great site. Feline Playful has a daily list of ALL challenge blogs, whether it be sketches or color challenges. It is there.
This challenge is from Deconstructed Sketch. Oh what a great site as well. This was a great sketch and so much fun to complete!!! My image is from CC Designs and colored in using my Copics. The designer papers are from a 6 X 6 pad from My Minds eye. I love love love the 6 X 6 pads. You see, I am a total paper hoarder, so having the 6 X 6 pads saves me on space and also scraps. At least that my justifying it, LOL!! Anyways, I wanted this card to be in summer colors, bright and pretty!
The sentiment is from Stampin Up! Itty Bitty Banners and then I cut it out with the Stampin Up! Bitty Banner Framelets. There you have it, My creation for the Deconstructed sketch challenge. What do ya think?

Come back tomorrow to see what other sketch challenges I have been a busy little bee creating.
Also, I am going to be doing some serious purging in my craft room and I will be selling some  gently used acrylic and red rubber stamps from such companies as C.C Designs, Magnolias, The Greeting Farm and many many more. I have just way too much and some are getting seriously neglected,(sad face here)

See you all real soon!!

Sunday Sketch & Stamp

Here is the sketch for Sunday Sketch & Stamp and below you will see my creation. I hope that I didn't go too much away from the sketch. I wanted to use the flowers which set my greeting a little off to the side. For this creation I used an image from The Greeting Farm. Isn't she cute?I did all of the coloring with my Copics of which I haven't used in quiet some time so it was nice to get back to them. If anyone knows me, they know I love glitter or anything glittery so on the flowers not only did I use Glimmer mist to add sparkle but I also used stickles. I love me some stickles!! I cut out the image and a layering base using Nestabilities Labels fourteen and also stamped the Happy Birthday from itty bitty banners and cut it out using the framelits-Bitty Banners from Stampin Up! The papers I used was a random piece of 12 X 12 from my stash. I also embossed the yoyo yello card stock with my most fave embossing folder, "Swiss Dots" That is always my "Go to" EF!! So, there you have it. my creation for Sunday Sketch & Stamp. I hope you enjoy my take on the sketch and come back often to see what I have for you all to enjoy.!!

She has so many neat creative tools. The image I used and stamped in Melon Mambo ink is from Inkadinkadoo. Isn't the sentiment just a hoot? A 12 X 12 and a fur baby

Hello Friends, Just a quick post to share a 12 X 12 layout that I have been working on. I haven't been too productive with my card creating lately. I have however been able to create the adorable scrapbook page that I am about to share with you now. This lay out was actually from a kit that I received as a swap. I am really challenged when it comes to colors and coordinating them for pages and cards too but with a kit, it is soooo much easier. Love it Love it Love it! So, the kit is English Rose from Kaisercraft. I added some bling myself and also used a Bazill swirl template to add the pink bling.  The flowers that I added to the corner of one of the photo mats was white but I made them pink with my Tattered Angels Glimmer mist " Pink Cadillac"    I think I am going to use these for my wedding photos.
So, I hope you all enjoy this fun layout and will join me again soon to see what is going on in my little creative world.
As of June 14th. I will be off of work for summer break until late August so it is my goal that I will not only be posting more frequently but also will be doing some fun give aways and challenges here on Dannie's Creative Outlet.
Our new fur baby
Cooper  8 months old
Oh, and before I forget, I also wanted to share with all of you my family's new addition(no, I didn't have a baby) but we did get a new fur baby and he is the coolest pup I have ever met. I have had dogs in my life but this one is different. He is so smart and cute and cuddly(is that how you spell it? ) LOL!

Hello Friends, How is every one's weekend going? Mine, so far has been wonderful. I started out by going to garage sales and went to one that was strictly crafting(rubber stamps and supplies) goodies. This garage sale is a yearly thing and it is also a great opportunity to sell those crafting items that I no longer need or have duplicates of and so on. There was so many crafting goodies I had to make 3 trips thru to make sure I didn't miss a thing.
After that it was time to come home and do some much needed laundry & house work. So with all of that caught up, time to hit the craft room and work on some swaps. Well, I completed 1/2 of a swap that I am in on Splitcoaststampers. This is for ATC's. I love ATC's. They are the funnest little pieces of art. This part of the swap is for Embossed ATC's. The dress form is embossed in a burgundy embossing powder. The stamp set I used it called Established Elegance from Stampin Up!
This is for a set of 8+1(the +1 is for the hostess) and the next set I will be working on will be using designer papers. As soon as I complete them, I will be sharing!! All for now as I have to get started on my little pieces of art!!

Me with the Golden Gate in the background
The San Francisco Skyline
Steam Train in Tilden Park, Berkely

Happy Monday friends, Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I know here in Northern Calif. we had 80 deg. days and my hubby and I even made  a day trip to San Francisco and on the way home stopped at Tilden Park to look at the little steam engines. They are so cool. They are real just on a wee small scale. They give family rides and it is just so pretty going thru Tilden on the steam train. We even got some cool pictures of San Francisco in the distance. You would think we were tourists. I have lived here my whole life and never get tired of seeing the Golden Gate or the San Francisco skyline!!So, It was a wonderful weekend. So, enough about my weekend I want to share with you all another challenge card that I finished. It was actually for 2 challenges. The first one being "Color Throwdown" The colors are Certainly celery, Pretty in pink, Melon Mambo & Always Artichoke.

Now for the sketch, It was from "The Deconstructed Sketch" There you have it, The 2 challenges and now my take on them, I used a darling stamp set on it from "Unity Stamp Co. called "Hodge Podge of Happiness" and I just love any and all of the stamps that I own from Unity. Always so cute!!!

I also used my Martha Stewart edge punch on the creation. I colored in the coffee cup with my twinkling H2O's. Oh, how I love them. So much sparkle and so fun to use as well. I also used my most fave embossing folder of them all, Swiss Dots.  The paper I used is from a 6 X 6 deck called DeLovely from Cosmo Cricket. I hope you all enjoy my creation!  Please leave me a little note so I know that you were here!  Hugs & Smiles!!!!

Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Hello Friends, How is every one's week going? It is almost Wednesday and I am so ready for the weekend even though we just had a week off for Spring break. The weather is getting nice and it is staying light later so it is almost Summer time and I can feel it!!  Sooooo, here I am with a project that I have just completed for Swap-Bot. This was to decorate a note book in the "Tim Holtz" kind of way. Well, I am really happy with how this turned out. I added the recipients name to the side and what I did was cut out the letters from a 12X12 piece of Tim Holtz designer paper and I glued them to card board and after I cut them out, I went over each letter with Distress crackle paint in Clear rock candy. The dress form is heat embossed in black and the time piece above it is heat embossed in clear over distress ink in aged mahogany. I added some burlap and some metal clock hands and keys and also that little burlap flower at the bottom of her name. Once I decorated it then I sat down and just grabbed any ribbon that I had and started tieing away. I even added some aged torn fabric.
So, there you have it. I have to pack it up and get it shipped out to the UK so she gets it before the deadline. I hope you all like it and maybe even go on over to Swap-Bot and do a swap or 2. They are so addicting and so much fun and I have made some great friends!!    Love to you all!!!

2 challenges, I'm ona roll

Good evening Friends, Here I am again, 2 days in a row, WOW, I need to keep this creative roll going. The 2 challenges that I am playing along with are, Just add ink and Mojo Monday. I had originally done it for 3 challenges but one of them ended last night and I didn't get it in in time.
Okay, So what I really like about this creation is(and I didn't even realize it until I put it together) is, The sentiment says  "Just a note to say Hello"  and look at the patterned paper that I used. Music notes, LOL! OK, call me a Blondie.  I just had to giggle to myself. So, with that being said, The 2 challenges that I am playing along with are, Just add ink, a color challenge of which we were to use Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla & Choc. chip. I actually used all of those colors. I am a huge fan of Pink and Anything so this was kinda easy for me. The other challenge was Mojo Monday which is a sketch challenge.

So, I just had to stop and share what I have created. I really hope you all enjoy it and enjoy my ramblings, LOL. I now have to start a project of which is due by the end of the month. I am on Swap-Bot and am in a swap to alter a larger size not book in Tim Holtz style so I purchased 3 note books just in case I screw up, Hopefully I wont!! As soon as I complete the note book, I will definitely be sharing.

Supplies used: Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla & Crumb Cake card stock from Stampin Up! Music Note designer paper from 7 gypsies, scallop circle and lacey circle from Spellbinders, Embossed Choc. chip panel with "Swiss Dots" emb. stamped sentiment from American Crafts and pink ribbon from my stash.

Finnally, A post

Hello Friends, It has been a long while for me but it has been an equally long while since I have created anything post worthy. I really have been in quiet the funk. Yes, I have created some quickie throw together things on a whim but for the most part, I havent done any challenges or swaps or anything like that. Some of my funk is Blogger. My blogger is a jacked up. I cannot see post options so when I go to change this font and color, I don't even know what I am clicking on. I really wish I was a little more computer literate. So, with that being said, I am posting a card that has actually taken me a few days to make. Mostly because every piece of card stock on it had to dry. I used Tattered Angels Glimmer mist on everything except for the tag. I just got my shipment in from Tattered Angels for My Etsy store and I have to say, Glimmer Mist is one of my most favorite things to use in my creations(minus the drying time)but the stuff is so much fun. Stop by My Etsy store and buy yourself some Glimmer Mist. You can get it for a really great price, I promise!!
So about my creation. I love the "Paris" look and the color scheme I love even more, Pink and Black. I think anything with Pink is my fave!!So, It's time for me to roll as I want to try and get a challenge started and share it with you all and try and keep up with my blog as much as possible. I miss you all and will be back real soon!!
Supplies used for this creation: Pretty in pin, basic black and whisper white card stock. Established Elegance stamp set from Stampin up! "Amore" from "Clearly for you" from Stampin Up! Rose and green leaves was made using Donna Salazar's Shapeabilities. All card stock was sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists in "Valentine Pink" and "Leapfrog"

UPDATE: Ok, so I have figured out what was wrong with my Blogger and DUHHHHHH! I needed to upgrade to Google Chrome. OMG, I cant tell you how many times I yelled at the screen telling it to cooperate. LOL!
See you all later! Nighty Nights!

Your on my mind
Hello all, I just wanted to share with you all a challenge card that I just completed. I am having some blogger/computer issues so I need to make this quick before I get another darn error message. I know my compuetr is ready to go into the shop and get worked on but I have been puting it off cause I dont want to go without my compuetr but I am only pro longing the the inevitable so, onto the creation, the challenge is from Frosted Designs and I really enjoyed making this! I basically used some scrap DP that I had and that I totally love and used some Rose Red card stock and embossed it with my most fave Embossing folder, Swiss Dots, printed out "your on my mind" onto neenah white cs, added some perfect plum eyelets and then added some white/off white bakers twine and there you go. I hope you enjoy my creation and I will try and visit back with you all before weekends end just to check in and say Hi and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Home from CHA

Hello friends, I just wanted to share a quick post with you all on my awesome trip to Sunny Southern Cali to CHA(Craft & Hobby association) and OMG, It, again was so much fun!! I have tons of pictures to share and so many new techniques that I want to try and then share with you all. I arrived in L.A. on Friday(cha didnt officially start until Sunday) but I had classes on Saturday so we wanted to get there a little early and settle in. We stayed at a hotel that was within walking to and from the convention center. I did alotta walkin in the 5 days that I was there. My feet still hurt. LOL!
So, One of  the classes that I took was an ATC class and not only did we make ATC's we also used Luminarte. I have found a new fave. Luminarte twinkling H2O's. They are so much fun oh and I have a quick story regarding Twinkling H2O's. Today(Sunday) I go to the flea market, well my husband and I usually go together every Sunday but he had to go and do an estimate(he's a tile setter) so I went by myself. Anyways, I was walking thru and I see all these wood mounted rubber stamps so I start to go thru them and and well, I really didn't find any that I just had to have so I start to walk away then I see in this basket, this little tiny container so I go over to it and what do I find??? Oh, I am so jazzed bout this, a bunch of the small jars of Luminarte twinkling H2O's. so I ask how much and they say $10.00 and I ask, well, will you take $7.00? They do so I am even more excited. I purchase my items and walk away just totally excited. So, I get home and I sit down to count them and write down all of the names of the ones I have and guess how many I got for $7.00?  86, Yes, I bought 86 brand new twinkling H2O's for $7.00( and there is not a duplicate in the bunch.) Is that the coolest or what? I just thought it was even cooler since I just took classes at CHA working with the Twinkling H2O's. Talk about luck!!!
So, anyways, I also took a class working with Viva  Inka-Gold and they gave us like 7 small pots of the cool paints. Thats the one awesome thing about going to CHA is you get soooooo many free things. You really should drive so you can cart all of your goodies home!   I also took a class working with Bella Blvd. They have some adorable things coming out real soon. It is just like being a kid let loose in a candy store with all of the goodies that you get to take home. Not to mention, you get to view and purchase your items that you will sell in your store so, I have some new things that I will be selling in my etsy store, Right now, the shelves are kinda bare so I made a purchase with Tattered Angels and 7 Gypsies, I brought some catalogs home so I can make some more purchases to add some more goodies to my store. Come on over and check it out, maybe there is something that you just have to have to create!!

Tim Holtz

Terri(One of the Go To Gals from PaperCrafts Mag) and I

American Girl Booth, Girlie Birthday Party
Another great thing about CHA is meeting all of the creative artists such as Tim Holtz,Teresa Collins,Suzy West and other awesome artists. Also, All of the absolutely beautiful samples made by All of the wonderful designers. I have over 200 photos of some great samples of scrap book pages, cards, ATC's, Altered canvas boards, etc.
So, this was my 2nd. year going to CHA and I already cant wait until next year!! I will share some more with you all in a couple of days, I am still un packing and trying to figure out where I am going to put all of my new supplies and I am also going to be holding a Blog Candy so you will want to come back in a few days(Friday) wink! wink!

Thanks so much for stopping by and listening to all of my babbleing and I will see you all real soon!!!

Hello Friends! I hope everyone started of this New Year on a positive note. So far so good for me.
I thought it was about time that I completed a challenge card. This challenge is from Scrapbook Stamp Society, I had never even heard of this challenge blog before and when I found it I was like, Cool! I needed a new challenge blog. I have had to delete some of my challenge blogs from my side bar. They have pretty much closed down so I have been on the hunt for some new ones. If anyone knows of any good ones, Please share. One of my New Years resolutions was to work on doing more challenges and being more active on my Blog. I have so neglected it.
So, onto the challenge. This one was to use Hearts and Flowers.Well, how easy is that? I think I captured that in my creation.  Basically, I made an envelope from the bigz scallop envelope die. I then punched bunches of hearts with my Nestabilities scallop hearts  dies and also using the Stampin Up! Love you much stamp set and punch.  It's like the envalope is bursting with hearts!!
For the flowers, I added them and then added some distress stickles to all of them to add some sparkle and I also used stampin Up's version of stickles in Cherry Cobbler onto the heart that says"Be Mine". Oh, and if you can tell, I embossed some of the hearts and the envie with multiple embossing folders. I just love adding dimension! The designer paper I used is called Posh and I am not sure who it is by but it is double sided and full of hearts!!  So, there you have it. I hope you enjoy my creation and this week I am hoping to get in at least one more challenge before I leave for CHA. When I return from CHA, I will be holding a sweet bit of candy on here so after the 1st. of Feb. dont forget to come back and visit!!!

Valentines is my fave

The bling in the middle of the bows

Hello Friends, First things first, I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and a very Happy New Years! I cannot believe it is already 2012. I only have a year and a half and my only baby boy will be graduating High School. They grow up way too quick. Anyways,  I have been MIA for quiet a bit. Sorry bout that. I have been so engrossed in Swap-Bot. This tag is for a Valentines shabby chic and pink Tag swap that I am hosting. I really really like Pink and Bling  and this tag shows that. It is a #8 size tag and what I did was first did 1 coat of Pink acrylic paint then I did a coat of crackle medium and once that dried, I painted over that with White acrylic paint.  That is also the same thing that I did with the die cut hearts(which are card board by the way).
The bow I made was with my wood bow maker. I then added the "bling" to the middle of the bow. Isn't it purty?

I will probably be pretty absent at least for the rest of this month, I am going to CHA again this year at the end of the month and I have a few swaps that I need to finish before I leave. I think I am in like 12 swaps : )! If you haven't checked out Swap-Bot yet, do it, You will get sooooo addicted!! I will see you all soon
