The Sweet Stop Challenge #37

Hello all, Well here I am with a new completed challenge. This one is for "The Sweet Stop" Sketch challenge blog. This was a fun challenge and I decided to pull out one of my neglected Bellas to use on this creation. Her name is "Emmybella" My color scheme was Post. Pink, Green Galore and black. I love pink with anything. I colored Emmys pants in with my Copics and her shirt with one of my Gelly Pens. The green bag was with green Spica and also her purse with a gelly pen. I added some Pink and green ribbon from my stash and the prima flowers in green polka dots and pink. The DP is from Debbie Mumm and you cant see it too well, but there is embossing in the pink and green lines on the DP. I also used my D'vine swirl EF to add a little texture!
Let me know what you think!

Off I go to a stamp camp, I so look forward to these every month. I will share our projects that we create with you all tomorrow!

Hugs!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Here is another challenge that I completed tonight from "Sweet sketch Wednesday" the stamp set I used is "Love 2 Hug" from "The {stamps} of life. I am a member of her monthly club and it is so worth it. I get a new stamp set sent to me on the 1st. of every month and the shipping within the US is only $1.00. Sweet deal for some sweet stamps. This set is a 39 piece set and is perfect for Valentines Day. Which is my favorite Holiday. I totally love all the pinks and reds. So pretty!
Anyways, My colors scheme was tempting turquoise,a dark purple and the DP is from the $ spot at Target called "Tweet Hearts Collection" Totally cute papers and some of them even have glitter and oh how I love glitter! I also used some Ric Rac from Doodlebug design, Inc. called boutique trims in the swimming pool assortment.
Well, I am off to hopefully complete another challenge. So, I will see you all real soon!

Mojo Monday #118

Happy day after Christmas everyone. I hope Santa was good to you all and you had a wonderful day with family and friends. I had a pretty busy Christmas as we had to drive all over the bay area to visit our families. It was so nice to see everyone!
So, onto a challenge. This one is from last Monday(Dec. 21st.) so there will be another one from Mojo Monday in 2 days so I thought I had better get this weeks up quick. As you can see, I turned mine but kept the sketch the same. This one I did rather quickly as it was pretty easy for me once I got my image all colored in. Isn't she just adorable? She is from Sugar Nellie. from the website Funky Kits,The home of adorable stamps I just love any and all of those images. Totally cute! I colored her in with my copics and used a pink Spica for the flower in her hair. The DP I used is from "My minds eye" and my color scheme is Rose Red, Close to cocoa and white. The sentiment is from Stampin Up! Circles of friendship. Well, I am off to do another challenge which I will share with you tomorrow!

3 Challenges in 1

Hello friends, Wow, It seems like I have been away forever. With all the shopping and wrapping and trying to make sure I get my Christmas cards sent out I haven't left much time for challenges. Well, They are all sent and I have completed 3 challenges in one. I am so excited about this one. First, We have Mojo Monday, You can see the sketch above and this one was quiet easy for me. I finally got to use my New Dahlia Nestie that I won in Wendy's awesome October Breast Cancer awareness Blog Candy. (Thank you again Wendy!!) Anyways, The next Challenge was the Splitcoaststampers color challenge # 249 which was Melon Mambo, Mellow Moss and So Saffron. And the 3rd. and final challenge was from Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog and it too was somewhat of a color challenge. We were to use nontraditional colors for a Christmas card. Although I did use Green(Mellow Moss) but that isn't too much of a Christmas color, Is it? Hmmmm, Maybe it is. Lemme know what you think. I feel like I had a pretty productive stamping night and now I am pooped. Only 3 more days until winter Break and I am off of work for 2 weeks,(can I hear a Woo Hoo?) I am ready for the break. From work that is (wink wink)!
See you all real soon!!

The sweet stop Sketch "Sew Happy"

Hello all, Here is my take on Sweet N Sassy's Sweet Stop sketch for this week. This week it was named "Sew Happy" which means some sort of sewing has to be incorporated into the creation. Well, If you could have seen me trying to get my little "Sew Mini" going you would have been hysterically laughing at me. I think I even used a few swear words. I was on a mission to get this darn thing going but.... I didn't. so, I ended up doing the Faux stitching around the edge of the card and on the rose red panel where the sentiment is.. I will eventually learn how to get that little machine going but for now, I had to put it away.
So, now back to the challenge. The image I used I just recently won in an awesome Blog candy From Wendy at "Anytime of life' Its good to be alive" and I just love this image. So darn adorable. It is called" Robins" by Jillian Roberts. (Stampavie) . My colors for this card are Rose Red, Bashful Blue and White. The DP i used is from "My Minds Eye" I colored in the image with my watercolor pencils and the stockings in with my Spicas. The blue pearls on the punched out sentiment are from Kaisercraft. I typed the sentiment(Merry Christmas) on my computer. Then the final touch I added was the embossed stars from my stash of di cuts. Thanks so much for looking and come back again soon for another completed challenge!

Mojo Monday Week 114

Here we have another Mojo Monday! This one was really fun and really easy for me. Right when I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. In fact, This is the 3rd. challenge that I have completed using the same DP! I was not going to waste any of that adorable paper from My minds eye. I am really happy with the result.
The image that I used, I am not even sure who it is from, I received it in a swap and it was the perfect size for this card! Once again, My cardstock colors for this creation was Rose Red, Cert. celery and white. The ribbon I used is cert. celery from Stampin Up! I printed the "merry Christmas on my computer and punched it out with my Modern Label punch from Stampin Up! I added blue self adhesive pearls onto the tag for that little bit of shiny! So, what do you think?

Come back again real soon as I will be completing another challenge!
