Home from CHA

Hello friends, I just wanted to share a quick post with you all on my awesome trip to Sunny Southern Cali to CHA(Craft & Hobby association) and OMG, It, again was so much fun!! I have tons of pictures to share and so many new techniques that I want to try and then share with you all. I arrived in L.A. on Friday(cha didnt officially start until Sunday) but I had classes on Saturday so we wanted to get there a little early and settle in. We stayed at a hotel that was within walking to and from the convention center. I did alotta walkin in the 5 days that I was there. My feet still hurt. LOL!
So, One of  the classes that I took was an ATC class and not only did we make ATC's we also used Luminarte. I have found a new fave. Luminarte twinkling H2O's. They are so much fun oh and I have a quick story regarding Twinkling H2O's. Today(Sunday) I go to the flea market, well my husband and I usually go together every Sunday but he had to go and do an estimate(he's a tile setter) so I went by myself. Anyways, I was walking thru and I see all these wood mounted rubber stamps so I start to go thru them and and well, I really didn't find any that I just had to have so I start to walk away then I see in this basket, this little tiny container so I go over to it and what do I find??? Oh, I am so jazzed bout this, a bunch of the small jars of Luminarte twinkling H2O's. so I ask how much and they say $10.00 and I ask, well, will you take $7.00? They do so I am even more excited. I purchase my items and walk away just totally excited. So, I get home and I sit down to count them and write down all of the names of the ones I have and guess how many I got for $7.00?  86, Yes, I bought 86 brand new twinkling H2O's for $7.00( and there is not a duplicate in the bunch.) Is that the coolest or what? I just thought it was even cooler since I just took classes at CHA working with the Twinkling H2O's. Talk about luck!!!
So, anyways, I also took a class working with Viva  Inka-Gold and they gave us like 7 small pots of the cool paints. Thats the one awesome thing about going to CHA is you get soooooo many free things. You really should drive so you can cart all of your goodies home!   I also took a class working with Bella Blvd. They have some adorable things coming out real soon. It is just like being a kid let loose in a candy store with all of the goodies that you get to take home. Not to mention, you get to view and purchase your items that you will sell in your store so, I have some new things that I will be selling in my etsy store, Right now, the shelves are kinda bare so I made a purchase with Tattered Angels and 7 Gypsies, I brought some catalogs home so I can make some more purchases to add some more goodies to my store. Come on over and check it out, maybe there is something that you just have to have to create!!

Another great thing about CHA is meeting all of the creative artists such as Tim Holtz,Teresa Collins,Suzy West and other awesome artists. Also, All of the absolutely beautiful samples made by All of the wonderful designers. I have over 200 photos of some great samples of scrap book pages, cards, ATC's, Altered canvas boards, etc.
So, this was my 2nd. year going to CHA and I already cant wait until next year!! I will share some more with you all in a couple of days, I am still un packing and trying to figure out where I am going to put all of my new supplies and I am also going to be holding a Blog Candy so you will want to come back in a few days(Friday) wink! wink!

Thanks so much for stopping by and listening to all of my babbleing and I will see you all real soon!!!
