Hello all, What wonderful weather we are having in California right now. It is brrrrr, chilly at 6:00 in the morning when I have to go to work but by 12 it is beautiful. Today Craig and I took a walk to Subway and got sandwiches for dinner. What a great walk! Whats funny is the whole walk I was thinking oh, I need to get home and finish this color challenge, so Here it is. The colors to use were Kiwi Kiss,Pretty in Pink & Baja Breeze. Very nice for Easter. I used my Penny Black "Easter Goddess" Isn't she cute? I love the egg that she is holding. I colored it in with my Sakura Gelly Roll Pens. You cant tell too well, But the egg is sparkly. Too cute! I also added some Primas and also, embossed the Kiwi Kiss with my swirls Embossing Folder. I really like this card, I think I will be making more for Easter. Holidays I go crazy with the cards so I will be adding plenty more Easter cards. Image
Happy Saturday everyone. What a busy day it has been but a fun busy. My son had Opening day ceremonies with his Baseball team today and I had to hit garage sales today since the weather was somewhat nice. No rain but chilly out, where is that spring weather anyways? I also completed a card that I made for a Design Team call for Digital Stamp Oasis . Ellie had a sketch for us to follow and this is what I came up with. I used an image from Rachel Anne Miller "Joy" and colored her in with my water color pencils and used my blender pens. I have an order in for my Copics and am impatiently awaiting there arrival, so for now it is my H2O pencils and blender pens. This card was so much fun to put together and I really like how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

A challenge from Victoria Case

Image
Hello all, Once again I have been slackin off. Well, Here is a card that I put together for a challenge at Victoria Case Art Designs . She has some of the cutest stamps and this one I used is totally adorable, "Girls Rule" and doesn't she just have that look in her blue eyes that lets you know that "Girls Rule"? The challenge was to create a card using Pink and Brown, and those are my most fave colors together. They are actually my wedding colors. On this card I used Close to cocoa and Pixie Pink from Stampin Up! and for the DP I used DCWV 12X12 Pink stripe. I also added some pearl pink accents on a strip of close to cocoa. I also added some Prima flowers in paper and in felt with brown brads added to the middle of the flowers. This card is also a joy fold standing up right. So, when you get a chance, go on over to Victoria Case Art Designs and take a peek!
