Hello Friends, long time no see

So, as one of my News Years resolutions, I have decided to pick up on my Blog. I have been gone way too long and am so excited to start this new year on the right crafting foot. The main reason that I have neglected to be present on here is, my craft room is a huge mess and I feel so closed in that I cannot create as much as I want to. Well, That has also been one of my resolutions, to clean this place up. I am so much more productive in a organized space. It may take me a while to get there but I am on a mission to share all things paper crafts with all of you, My Friends! I will be back real soon with some challenges that I will be participating in. Stay tuned!!

Stay Tuned

Hello Crafty peeps, it has been a really long while since I have been here.  Coming back soon with some crafty fun. Come the new Year(2018) I will be more productive and sharing all things crafty. XOXO, Dannie

Less is more Challenge

Image
Happy Sunday friends. I wanted to post another challenge card before I went to bed tonight. I think I am going to create  plenty more of this card for a craft fair that I am doing in November. Simple but oh so cute!!   Here is an easy card that I created for the challenge at  Less is more The challenge was to be 1 layer and 2 of something. These little guys are so cute with their googley eyes and bling red buttons. I also heat embossed them with "primary bark" WOW embossing powder. I sporadically added the red and green sequins. The stamp set I used is scentsational seasons by Stampin Up!  I hope you enjoy what I have created, Don't forget to let me know that you were here!! Have a great Monday everyone!! Repost, Here is one that I completed that is only 1 layer. Although I did heat emboss the gingerbread men.

I'm checkin in with a challenge

Image
Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all. I completed this challenge card from Mojo Monday on Tuesday but this is the first chance I have had to load it up and share it with you all. I love the colors on the card. I used a paper pad from Simple Stories, "Vintage Bliss" The colors are really summery(even though we are at the end of summer) I wanted to get one last summer card in! The "hi" is a wood embellishment that I colored using magicals from Lindy's stamp gang. Let me tell you, they are so sparkly and pigmented. I took a little scoop out of the little pot and added a drop or 2 of water and wow, So pretty! I then went over the piece with paper glaze. I added a little silver butterfly charm over to the right and attached it with the pink twine. I hope you enjoy my creation and hopefully, I will be back soon!!

Another Monday down...

Image
Hello there everyone! Well, here it is, almost August. Please let time slow down just a bit.  We have had the most mild summer here in Nor Cal. I mean, the next few days we are supposed to get 100° days but we really haven't had too many of those this summer and I am OK with that. So, onto my challenge card. I played along with the sketch over at Mojo Monday and it was supposed to be tall and skinny so this is my tall and skinny 3 1/2 X 9 1/4 creation.   The paper I used is from Prima's Princess Collection.  The sentiment of from A Stampin Up! stamp set called Whimsical words. The flowers I punched out with one of my flower punches and I added some stickles around both of the flowers. I put this one together rather quickly and I am really happy with how it turned out. Go on over to Mojo Monday and check out all the other great creations that some really talented ladies came up with. Thanks for looking and don't forget to let me know that you were here. Have a...

The DP I used is from a 6X6 stack called "Anthologie" by We R Memory keepers. I added an antique brad and some twill trim and at the bottom is some green ball trim from my stash. I used my oval  nesties and stamped "Just a note to say Hello and i heat embossed that in green. I then inked the edge of that oval piece. Hello Friends, Just wanted to drop a quick line to let you all know that I am still around. I have been super busy and just couldnt find the time to get a post out to you guys. So, I have finished a few projects lately, Just doing some playing around.  So, this first card is one that I created and really, just playing around. I had purchased a roll of 10 yards of 2mm. bling, Oh how I love Bling. I just wanted to use it on something so on the sentiment is where I chose to place it. It just adds a little bit of something to an otherwise flat card.  For this next photo, I have been really having some fun creating chunky charms. This is one of my first charms and I really had fun creating it.  This next creation is a tag that I created for a swap that I was in. Now, I love love love these Prima doll stamps, The possibilities are endless as far as dressing them. If I am ever bored or cant quiet find the creativity in me, then I color and dress a Prima doll. Happy Friday Friends, This week went by really fast and I am so glad it did. I have a craft fair to get ready for and it seems like during the week, I cant get the time in to get organized . So, I have about 200 Christmas cards that I want to complete and other misc. Christmas items, Like Reindeer food and little goodies like that. So, onto the card sketch, This one is from Mojo Monday and what a fun one it was. I just got this cool DSP and was wanting to put something together with it. It is MME "Breeze"  Pretty, huh?  What you see  below is I sprayed the yellow flag panel with radiant pearls for a little bit of shimmer. The sentiment is one of which I have in my stash. I heat embossed in black. You cant really see the shininess of it but it added some shiny to the creation. So, I am off to work on some Christmas stuff but I will return very soon! Have a great weekend all!

So, below I have a card that I created for 2 challenges. The first one being Sweetest Thing blog . Isn't the little birdie so cute? Even though this was a single layer card, I still love it! I sometimes feel like, if I don't add 2 or 3 layers to a card, It looks nekkid(naked) but this one I really really love! Oh my goodness, A scrap book layout

Image
Happy Friday everyone, I have been a busy little bee lately with my papers and Ink. I am so excited to share with you all, A scrapbook layout that I completed today. When I saw this sketch on Sketchabilities ,I was like, omg,  I gotta play! I had the perfect picture for it! This is our "baby" Cooper! My husband and I always argue on who loves the baby more. LOL! That's what we refer to him as, "The Baby" So, the photo I used is one that we took of Coop at the park. He loves to fetch the ball and bring it back to us for a treat(he is very food motivated) well, he had been going back and forth for quiet a while and so he was taking a breather and I caught this smile on his face. Is he not adorable or what? I could create 100 scrapbook pages with just photos of "The Baby" but I wont bore you with anymore Cooper stories, Instead, I will leave you with this layout that I did following the sketch from Sketchabilities . I really, really like how this page ...
